Expo-Surface 2022, Kielce – anti-corrosion technology and surface protection
On 5-7 April 2022, another edition of Expo-Surface - the Fair of Anti-corrosive Technologies and Surface Protection - was held at Targi Kielce. The event was part of the well-known "Industrial Spring" series and, as every year, brought together a wide range of specialists interested in modern methods of protecting and treating industrial surfaces.
Scale of the event and international guests
The fair attracted around 500 exhibitors from Poland and abroad, including Germany, Finland, Hungary, Greece and Turkey. The exhibition halls were visited by more than 10,000 professional visitors, who had the opportunity to get acquainted with the offer of seven full exhibition halls. Attendees emphasised that Kielce is the place to meet the most important players in the surface protection industry at one time.

Technologies and areas of presentation
Expo-Surface 2022 focused on solutions for anti-corrosion, powder and wet painting, as well as chemical and thermal surface treatment methods. The stands showcased coating application equipment, substrate preparation systems, paint booths, as well as modern coating materials. There was also a lot of interest in the measurement and control systems, which allow the quality of coatings to be assessed in real time.
Practical demonstrations and exchange of experience
One of the elements that distinguish the Kielce trade fair is the live demonstrations. Exhibitors presented machine operation, technological lines and coating processes, which allowed visitors to directly compare different technologies. It was the practical dimension of the event that was most often cited as its greatest advantage - alongside the opportunity to talk to experts and exchange experiences with other industry representatives.

Summary and relevance to the market
Expo-Surface 2022 confirmed its role as one of the most important events for the surface protection industry in Central and Eastern Europe. The high attendance and the wide range of exhibitors show that the market is not only growing rapidly, but is also looking for increasingly advanced and environmentally friendly solutions. For many companies, participation in the fair was an opportunity to win new contracts and for visitors to learn about the trends that will shape the surface industry in the coming years.
