Romer News: What did you focus on at this year's FabTech?
Wojciech Ciura: As a manufacturer of complete solutions for powder coating, we present our full portfolio - from booths to transport systems to surface preparation equipment. However, the key feature of our stand this year is the Profispray powder applicator. It is an innovative tool designed for high repeatability, precision and process cost optimisation.
What technically distinguishes Profispray?
The machine has a very high powder transfer efficiency, which translates into reduced material losses. We have incorporated solutions for easy cleaning and maintenance, which reduces production downtime. The modular design is also an important advantage: the Profispray can be easily integrated into manual and automatic lines, including paint robots.
What questions do visitors ask most often?
Customers are primarily interested in the operating parameters - performance, adjustment range, durability of components. There were also a lot of questions about compatibility with existing paint lines and the possibility of automating the process. It is clear that the market expects not only efficient, but also intelligent and energy-efficient equipment.
How do you rate the event itself in terms of the industry?
FabTech 2025 is a record-breaking event in terms of both the number of exhibitors and visitors. It is a platform where you can compare technologies, verify trends and gain valuable benchmarks. The atmosphere is very professional - every conversation can lead to concrete business collaborations.
What conclusions do you draw after the fair?
Firstly - the direction the industry is going is towards automation and digitisation of processes. Secondly - customers expect environmentally friendly and energy- and material-saving solutions. Profispray responds to both of these challenges. Thirdly - participation in FabTech is an opportunity for us to expand our presence in the US and global markets.
And what are the next steps for Profispray?
We plan to develop the product towards even better ergonomics and an extension of the digital control functions. Together with our customers, we will test solutions under industrial conditions in order to deliver a device that is maximally adapted to practical needs. Our aim is for Profispray to become the new standard in the powder coating industry.
