In the heat treatment of large workpieces, there is no one-size-fits-all approach. When the workpieces are easy to move - the classic batch oven, with its trolley and loading area, works well. It is a proven, repeatable and line-integrated solution. But when the components are too heavy, have a complex geometry or are permanently fixed - any displacement is a cost, downtime and risk. In such cases, the oven should adapt to the workpiece, not the other way around - and be ready to work where the component is. Both approaches provide full thermal performance: airtightness, insulation and even temperature distribution. The only difference is who moves: the workpiece or the oven.
