Material selection in cabin construction

  • If you care about a clean process and durability, depending on your priority: antistatic properties or strength.
  • In powder coating booths, both steel and plastics have their advantages – the choice depends on the priorities of the plant. Carbon steel provides high rigidity, mechanical resistance, and durability of the structure, withstands impacts and operation in harsh conditions well. It works well where reliability and longevity are important. Antistatic plastics eliminate the problem of powder sticking to the walls and are easy to keep clean. This helps to achieve greater repeatability and aesthetics of the coatings. They work well in precision processes where the quality of application is crucial. Each solution has its place. Steel offers structural reliability, while plastic ensures process cleanliness. The choice should be based on which of these features are more important in a particular production process.
