Heat energy transfer between media by means of a heat exchanger

The heat exchanger is the heart of energy conservation - it recovers and transfers heat from the flue gases, increasing the efficiency of the cooker and reducing running costs.

Heat energy transfer between media by means of a heat exchanger

Standard exchanger

A standard heat exchanger is a device usually mounted on top of the cooker that recovers energy from the flue gases generated during the heating process. Its main function is to heat the combustion air before it reaches the burner. This makes the burner work more efficiently - because it gets already preheated air - which translates into: lower fuel consumption, faster chamber heating, lower emissions, and higher overall cooker efficiency. This simple solution makes use of energy that would normally be irretrievably lost through the chimney. As a result, the cooker becomes more economical and environmentally friendly - without the need to increase power or add more burners.

Double exchanger

The double heat exchanger is an extended version of the classic single exchanger system. Using only one burner, the system recovers heat from the flue gases in two stages: - the first exchanger heats the combustion air, - the second exchanger additionally heats the process air or other stream. Compared to a single exchanger, the double exchanger allows more energy to be recovered, increasing cooker efficiency and reducing fuel consumption. It is a cheaper alternative to installations with multiple burners or cookers of more complex design - lower investment cost, less servicing, faster payback.

Side exchanger

The side exchanger is an alternative to the classic top heat recovery system. Instead of mounting the exchanger on top of the furnace - which requires additional vertical space - it is placed on the side of the chamber, significantly reducing the overall installation height. This solution is ideal for halls with low ceilings or limited technical space. The side exchanger operates with a horizontal flue gas circuit, in which the flue gases flow horizontally through the cooker, instead of rising naturally upwards (as in the vertical system). This circulation is not only more compact, but also more predictable in terms of temperature distribution in the chamber - especially in cookers where uniformity and cycle speed are important. Functionally, it works in the same way as a standard exchanger - recovering energy from the flue gases and feeding it back into the system - but it opens up new possibilities for cooker configurations where every centimetre of height counts.

Panel exchanger

Panel (external) exchanger - This is a self-contained unit located outside the machine casing, usually mounted in the immediate vicinity of the process plant. Its purpose is to control the temperature of the internal systems - without physical integration into the machine structure. The heat exchanger operates in a closed circuit, transferring heat through the surface of the panel to stabilise the operating conditions of the components inside - without having to rebuild the enclosure or use active internal cooling. This solution works where separation of heat sources, limited internal space or the need to simplify servicing is crucial - because the entire cooling system operates externally, without disturbing the continuity of the main machine structure.
